I love french bakeries. I ate some variation of bread every morning in Vietnam. La Baguette Magique in WC is excellent. Really reasonable prices, so many things I wanted to try. That baguette was unreal, bread is so airy, yet crisp. Huge fan of the pistachio eclair as well. I would post a photo of the macaroons, but my photo is what they look like after a toddler smashes them.
Delightful French Bakery from the talented minds behind West Chester's hit dinner spot Andiario.
The charming seating area is bright and inviting with several Bistro style tables.
The bakery cases and retail displays have a bit of European flair.
At the entrance you're greeted with grab & go fresh baked bagged Baggetts $3.50 just put the cash in the ceramic "chicken" no need to wait in line.
Highlights for our visit include the luscious Blackberry Tart, Cream Filled Brioche Roll, Lemon Tart, Dutch Sausage Brioche Rolls. The coffee was nicely prepared and served hot.
We also brought home a quart of Andiario's Mushroom Soup for lunch.
A charming little French inspired shop, excellent service, and delectable pastries.
This is a very lovely little shop. That has these adorable little tables with cute little flowers. The chairs have seen better days, some of the wicker ones are starting to unravel and the chairs just aren't comfortable enough for you to want to stay and chat for very long.
The food and pastries are the star of the show here. I've tried a variety of their offerings and they're all delicious and reasonably priced. Their drinks are another story, my husband's caramel latte he said was good but they didn't even have my usual drink of choice of a chai tea latte. So I went with a hot chocolate which wasn't very chocolatey at all, just very bland and somehow my small hot chocolate cost more than his large caramel latte...
I'll definitely want to come back for the food but I'll probably walk down the street to Carlinos for a drink.
The French baguette there is as close as you can get to one in France. Staff is friendly and conversational but efficient and quick at the same time. They have an espresso machine so I always get a cappuccino when I can. There’s also a Parisian sandwich made with their baguette, butter, ham, and cheese which I get for lunch - it’s amazing.
There’s seating for about 15 people inside with small tables. Not the best for large crowds. Can get crowded especially on weekends. They also have outdoor seating.
Can be a little pricey but perfect for a quick lunch or snack on occasion. I also get their chocolate croissant - you must try!
Not many vegetarian or gluten free options.
I’ve been on a hunt for “addictive” croissants after having had one such experience at a patisserie in Newport RI (and I’ve had croissants in Paris too, which were okay). I have not found it in PA … yet, but did find the morning bun here *very* good. Friendly staff and nice ambience.
Excellent little bakery. Very busy. Great baguettes. Super fresh! I couldn't tell if they had any free Wi-Fi, otherwise I would have ordered more and sat there all afternoon to work.
To have a local bakery like this is a dream! We come in almost weekly to stock up on bread, cake, croissants, and more. Try the Polenta Cookies and you are BLESSED if the Pistachio Eclairs are in season 🙌🏻
Great place for breakfast and a coffee. Always have amazing pastries and fresh baguettes which are tough to beat. Sometimes they have some items from Andiario up the street as well, which are always worth trying. We went on a morning they had Canadian bacon from Andiario and it was a great way to start the day.
